FAQ's
What do I need to bring?
The property will provide most things you would expect in a normal holiday home ie coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, and some toilet paper. If you feel you may need something, in particular, please bring it with you, just in case. Duvets, pillows, and blankets are provided in all the homes however if you are one who particularly feels the cold then we suggest you bring extra blankets just to be safe.
Can I hire linen instead of bringing it with me?
Yes – $25/person per stay, depending on bedding configuration. Linen consist of:
King sheet sets, Queen sheet sets, Single sheet sets Pillowcases, Bath towels, Hand towels, Face Cloths, Tea towels, Soap (individually wrapped)
What do I need to bring if I opt to bring my own linen?
Should you wish to bring your own linen, depending on bedding configuration you will need set of sheets, pillowcases (minimum of 2 per bed), towels, hand towels, bath mats, face cloths and tea towels.
What are the office hours?

Where do I pick up the keys?
5 days pre your arrival at your chosen holiday home, an email is sent to you with all the details you will need to find property and access holiday home.
I am more than happy to “meet and greet” guests upon arrival should you request this.
Is there more than one set of keys?
No, if you are with other people and need to go your own ways while staying at the home then please arrange with your group. Most holiday homes are supplied with a lock key box storage unit with a pin number. You will also be notified of this in an email 5 days pre your arrival.
Do I have to clean?
No. You have paid a compulsory cleaning fee which covers the cost upon departure. We would however appreciate you stripping beds please and wiping over kitchen bench. We would ask you to leave holiday home in a tidy manner please.
Your “grooming” fee covers an extensive clean pre your arrival as we take pride in our level of cleanliness.
Is there cleaning products in the home?
Yes. These are normally supplied under the sink in kitchen cupboard.
Is firewood provided?
Yes, should your choice of particular property have a fireplace? Please inquire further with the Property Manager.
Is the gas bottle for the BBQ provided?
Yes, directly attached to BBQ. Should the gas bottle run out whilst you are staying at holiday home please let Property Manager know at your earliest and the bottle will be collected for a refill.
Can I check in earlier than 3 pm?
We try to accommodate specific requests however from Dec-April, this is not always possible. Please enquire with Property Manager.
Can I check out later than 10.30am?
Maybe. Due to high season demand this option is not available from Dec-April. Through the other months of the year we will try to accommodate a specific request.
Can we put up a tent?
No sorry
Can we hook our campervan/caravan up to the house power?
No sorry
Are pets allowed?
No sorry, we no longer cater for pets due to other guests with allergies
Can you provide some information about what to do in Raglan?
Each holiday home is provided with an extensive folder with great information about Raglan ie cafes, shopping, beaches, surf spots, places of interest etc. Check out the following link http://www.raglan.net.nz
Can you organise any outdoor activities for us, ie surf lessons, kayaking?
Yes, please enquire with Property Manager. We would be very happy to set you and your group up with any of the following activities at your time of convenience:
- Surf lessons
- Kayaking
- Paddleboarding
- Massage
- Wahine Moa (sunset cruise)
